Today’s ride was the Tour de Charles:

Today’s route took us through Boston to the ocean, then down the beautiful Harborwalk almost to the JFK museum. Then back on Mass Ave…during rush hour!

Today we held a reprise of our bike-lane tour from May. Again, here’s the route:

today it was Ken, Mako, and Matt. it started to rain as we got to Kenmore Square, so Matt chickened out and headed home…

Today was the first outing of the Sloan Riders. We explored various types of bike lanes in the city, including:

• bridge lanes on Longfellow
• left-hand lanes on Commonwealth
• multi-use paths on the Esplanade
• “cycletracks” on Vassar
